Aletsch Arena
Our house is located in Mörel, at the foot of the Riederalp. You can reach the Aletsch Arena by cable car, which is a 10 minute walk from our house. The Aletsch Arena offers great opportunities for activities both in the summer as well as in the winter. The Aletsch Glacier, the longest Glacier of the Alps, is definitely worthwhile to visit.
Car Free Village Zermatt
Zermatt
The famous car-free village Zermatt can be reached by a 40-minute drive by car, or relax and take the train from Mörel to Zermatt. Breathtaking views along the ride!
Strategic location for (day) Trips
Located in Mörel, provides you the opportunity to both enjoy the Aletsch Arena (Riederalp, Bettmeralp, Fiescheralp) as well as other scenic villages and locations in the nearby surroundings. A few examples: Sion, Sierre, Brig, Brigerbad, Binntal, Ernen, Fiesch, Grächen and many more pictoresque villages.

Crossing the Simplon pass, you will reach Italy in only 35 minutes. Lago Maggiore is only half an hour further away.
